Have you tried the AdSense Video units?
ADVERTISEMENTSToday while checking my AdSense earnings, I noticed a new option in the AdSense Setup page -’Video units‘. I think these were already introduced by YouTube earlier, but it was never shown on the AdSense Setup page until today.
I currently have the Video units at DigitGeek below posts on single pages and find both the YouTube videos and the AdSense ads are related to the content. I am not sure how well they perform though.
Hove you tried the AdSense Video units? Did they do well for you?

Are the video units opened up for Indian publishers also?
I thought it was only for US and few other countries.

by the way… I see that on one of your blogs digitgeek.com, you have others writing for you… Can you please write a detailed post on how and where you find writers for your blogs, on what basis you pay them, conditions you set with them like writing daily or following up on each comment posted etc

I think I’ve tried them once before. For me, they made my website a bit too clutter. As a result, I simply scrapped them.
I’ve heard similar responses of people who took them off of their website’s rather quickly. From a revenue standpoint, the only notions I’ve heard are that they are equal to or lower than the regular earnings of text ads.

Alex Schaefer - On DigitGeek, the AdSense video units get very little clicks. But I don’t feel like removing them as it displays interesting related videos. I hope the readers find them useful too.
