Suggest Categories For Blogg-Buzz

Blogg-Buzz already has lots of categories but users are still suggesting more. So we would like to add the categories that most people want. Some of the categories that users wanted were Digital Photography, Family, Religion and Pets.

I’d like to see sports split up. Say Soccer, Rugby, Cricket, American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey and Other (but expand as you wish)
Also, why not add one of my favourite Digg Categories: “Playable Web Games”

In technology, we can have subsection P2P. Rest assured for you that I’ll makes sure that the category is active.
Plus in science section, why subsections. I’m not sure if there are that many bloggers in that area.

Under technology, I would like to see a section devoted to “The web”. This should be for articles related to web based services and startups.
But, with the number of submissions so low, there is no need to add too many categories and complicate matters. Currently its very easy to go through all the stories in a few minutes without using category based navigation.

I would like to see the Gaming section divided into PC , XBOX , PS3 etc .

The Design Programming Software Security should go under Web Development. Others left in Tech.

I suggest a Self IMprovement / Personal Development section, as well as religious, philosophy, spirituality. Split up if possible, you can always combine them if you don’t get enough entries. But definitely a self improvement section, the other directory type sites I’ve seen always go well.

I suggest a main category for Travel and destinations. And in Technology I would like to see Tips and Tricks Sub category.

How about a beauty, or fashion category ? All these digg-like sites are too tech inclined for me

i think i would like to have split categories for blog such as music, entertainment, religion , sports, etc. note that blog sub categories are different that main categories

i agree with the web 2.0 suggestion. i think digg should have added this category along time ago.

I was one of those to request a family category or at least have it listed under another category. If its blogg-buzz is going to be a site for all blogs then it would have to cover every category in blogoshpere.
For Family you could have under it the following:
Parenting
Pregnancy
Marriage
Family Life
As for some of the above categories, I think digital photographay could fit under Technology. No?
Also, I think the money category could be broken down as well since there are so many blogs that deal with making money online and investing and finance.

Rhys- There is no use splitting up Sports category at this time as I have not seen anyone use that category.
Ashwin- A ‘Web’ category has been added, you can submit your P2P related stories there.
