Rewarding Regular Readers

Sorry for not doing the Rewarding Regular Readers (RRR) post more often, I had to stop doing every week as I could not find enough good posts. Please display your top posts on your blog either manually or using some plugin, so that I can find your good posts to list for RRR

Join my MyBlogLog Community
Comment regularly (try to get in the Top Commenter’s list)
Make comments of good quality and not comments like “Nice post, John!”
Make good posts on your blog

I will be checking out the recent comments and will visit the blogs of those who left good comments and if I find a good post on your blog, I will feature that post. And remember, if a post of a Top Commenter is selected, it will be placed on the top of the list according to their position on the Top Commenter’s list.

Nice post John!

Sorry, I couldnt resist. I do have a question though. You stated above that we should try and get into the top commenter list and then later in the post you mention that you will be checking recent comments to find good ones. So I am wondering if getting into your top commenter list is a prerequisite to having a post featured on your site or is it just a preference.

Either way the posts on my blog dont really fit your niche so they may never get featured.

Regardless, I’ll still give it a try.

Ari- I always check the Top Commenter’s blogs first, and if I select a post from the blog of a Top commenter, their post will be among the first on the list.

And if I have time, I check out the recent comments to find good comments from readers not on the Top commenter list.

So if you are listed on the Top Commenter list, you have more chance of getting listed on RRR.

Regarding topic, I usually select the ones related to the content on this blog. But if your post is really interesting, I will select it.

I agree, that’s what one of the main reasons that blogs are so different than normal websites, they have more of a community feeling to them - especially with the comments.

I didn’t realise you rewarded regular readers with links, I’ve only recently started reading this blog. Good idea though, all the more reason to stay
