CCleaner is a freeware system optimization tool that helps to remove unnecessary and temporary files from your PC allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It is also a privacy tool that cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history.

CCleaner also has a built-in Registry cleaner which helps to check and fix problems in your registry.

• Third-party applications: Removes temp files and recent file lists (MRUs) from many apps including Opera, Media Player, eMule, Kazaa, Google Toolbar, Netscape, MS Office, Nero, Adobe Acrobat, WinRAR, WinAce, WinZip and many more…

CCleaner is 100% free and does not contain any Spyware, Adware or Viruses.

What I do not like about CCleaner is it’s interface, but the best part of this software is that it is small, fast and free! And CCleaner is also Vista compatible, unlike TuneUp Utilities 2007 which has still not released a Vista compatible version.

   Good to know that its compatible with Vista…Not everything is compatible yet

   Socca- I have mentioned in the post already that CCleaner is Vista compatible.

   I have been using CCleaner with vista and it dose not cause any problems where as some other cleaning software I have used with Vista have caused me problems even though they claim to be vista compatible these are pc booster and spybot.

    I’m not that familar with the program i’m not shure which internet site is best to down load the free version 4 vista
