AGLOCO - Get Paid To Surf The Web

AGLOCO, short for a global community, allows you to make money by running a small toolbar, the ‘Viewbar, on your browser while you surf the web.
The Viewbar is currently in limited beta testing and is not yet available for download. In a couple of weeks, the viewbar will be put for download.
The Viewbar is what enables AGLOCO to collect the money you are earning while browsing the Internet. The Viewbar keeps track of your online interests and preferences, and uses that information to deliver advertising based on the web pages you are visiting.
The moment you learn that the Viewbar keeps track of your online interests, you may doubt that it contains spyware. This is what their site says to assure you that the AGLOCO Viewbar has absolutely no spyware.
The Viewbar™ is the opposite of spyware. Spyware sneaks onto your computer without your knowledge or permission, it steals your private information, and it’s nearly impossible to remove. Unlike spyware, the Viewbar™ is completely permission based, it keeps your information private, and you can always turn it off with a single click.
Features of the Viewbar include:
- Search (every time you use the Viewbar to do a search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers and they pay you)
- Contextual ads (the Viewbar displays Ads that are targeted based upon the websites you’re visiting. When you click on an Ad and make a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which they pass on to their members.)
- Anti-fraud and other software utilities (lets AGLOCO get you money from software companies)

You can run the Viewbar upto 5 hours per month. Once the five hours are over, you can turn the Viewbar off until next month. However you will make money when people you have referred and the people they referred (down to 4 levels) surf.
Until the Viewbar is released, you can refer other people to join your community and earn more that way. You can refer people through email, instant messengers and websites.
If you have a blog, you can make a post on AGLOCO and ask your readers to sign up using your referral link. You can also try putting up an AGLOCO banner on your site. The more people you refer, the more money you make.

Ryan- I have not referred much people either so far as I never tried to promote it too, except on IMs. Let me see how many people I can refer with the help of this post
Zigire- I know some people dislike AGLOCO for many reasons (I was one of them), but I thought of writing about it anyway as one of the things my blog covers is how to make money on the Internet.
Alex- Like Zigire, I too disliked AGLOCO. One of the reasons is because I thought it to be spyware.
But recently I decided to give it a try. And since I tried it, I though of blogging about it aswell as one of the things my blog covers is how to make money on the Internet. And I am sure there are people still who have not heard about AGOLOCO or have not tried it so far due to many reasons. So maybe this post will make them want to try out AGLOCO

Yes, but do you want an ad-based additional toolbar? That is the question.
Just check google now for the amount of SPLOGS set up promoting this: search for “agloco blog” (try “agloco news” or whatever else tickles your fancy)

I’m also on that anti-agloco train (or should I save “motive”). I really don’t see it working for just the same reasons AllAdvantage failed. Not sure what they’re planning to do different this time around. Personally, I didn’t like the ad bar up all the time.

AGLOCO is fine, but again one of these Pyramidal / reseller / referal business model is defetively a very reliable one. Blogging can make more money I think. We’ll publish a comparason based on ALL referal programs on the web soon. We are finishing the case study.

I think that many people did not get the point: you don’t have to continuously keep the Viewbar on. The maximum amount of time for which you’ll get paid anyway is 5 hours/month. After you keep it for 5 hours, you can switch it off until next month. Of course only people with a network will get some significant amount of money, but even if you don’t have a network, you can have discounts at online shopping from Agloco’s sponsors (at least this is what they state on their blog).
Besides, it is free and it takes two minutes to join, so I don’t see why not giving it a try?

Agolco, or similar easy-earning opportunities are great for starters. But if anyone is really looking for handsome income, there is no alternative to freelancing.
