JohnTP.com is PageRank 6 now!
ADVERTISEMENTSWith the recent PageRank update, I was happy to find JohnTP.com with a PR 6. Earlier this blog was stuck with a PR 3, and then with last times PageRank update it got PR 5 and now PageRank 6.
I checked my future pagerank with some tools and it predicted a PageRank 7 for this blog on the next update, I hope it’s true

Very cool. I’m hoping to eek out a PR5 soon with a site I’ve had for almost two years, but the market segment it targets isn’t exactly link friendly. Future says PR4.
My blog, however, might beat that to PR5, though. Much easier to get links to a blog (or at least in the video game arena).
Nice to see a little more activity here.

I’ve been stuck on PR5 for nearly 2 years Although, some of the future guys say I’ll be getting a 6 next time around so fingers crossed.
I think I got penalised for taking a few extended breaks

Congrats. I think your blog deserves that.
I’m a finance blogger(started in Oct’06) and just checked my PR which is 3. What does it mean?
I blog regularly and wd be keen to monetize my blog. Saw a lot of articles of my use. Am putting u on my BlogRoll.
There r already some ppl on my Blogroll but I hv been too shy of asking them to reciprocate. Maybe I shd start with you since u talk about asking politely abt reciprocating.
Plz visit my blog and if u find it useful/informative/promising, may I hv the link back. Thanks

Ranjan- I am sorry to say that I don’t link exchange anymore. If you are interested, you can buy a sitewide link.

And mine became PR0 from PR5 for some funny reason lol (Though many inside pages are with PR) I will wait for someone and get in touch with Google if it remains like this for long.

I recently moved to my own domain from blogspot, I thought I have to wait for a long time to get the same PR as my blogspot but right now I have PR 4 in my new domain same as my blogspot. I couldn’t have been more happier than this.

John, I just sent Darren an e-mail about this, but I noticed you just made this post so I will ask you. I just checked my page rank and for http://the-reviewer.net I am page rank 3, but for http://www.the-reviewer.net I am page rank 1. Do you know why this is? Is there anyway I can get the WWW address, which is the same to page rank 3 as well?
It says my future page rank is 3…

I had this same problem earlier. https://johntp.com had PR 3 and https://johntp.com had PR 5.
Possible Solutions
1. install WWW Redirect WordPress plugin
2. go to and then set your ‘Preferred domain’ found under ‘Diagnostic’

Hi John,
Congrats,
How long does it take you to get to page rank 6. I took 2 months to get to page rank 2. Hope I can follow your footstep and get high rank soon!

iwebtool predicted my site’s PR 4 first time, i got 4 PR after update.
Later it predicted 5, but after the recent PR update i am still stuck at 4 PR.
Not so acurate.

Yes John, you rock. You have a great link power, don’t you think? With these links (91xPR3 83xPR4 47xPR5 21xPR6 2xPR7 in Yahoo) I think you might receive PageRank 7, like Lorelle

I agree. What tips you can from the site is definitely well-deserving in its PR. Just see how many people are linking back! I am truely inspired to build up my site like this, but it takes time.
