WordPress 2.0.7 Released
ADVERTISEMENTSWordPress 2.0.7 has been released and is recommended that all users update as it contains fixes to the PHP security problem and the Feedburner issue that was in 2.0.6.
Users that have upgraded to WordPress 2.0.6 that was released a few days back, don’t have to update all of their WordPress’ files. Here is the list of files that have changed since 2.0.6:
- wp-admin/inline-uploading.php
- wp-admin/post.php
- wp-includes/classes.php
- wp-includes/functions.php
- wp-settings.php
- wp-includes/version.php
Also, the next major version of WordPress (2.1) is due out by the end of the month

I broke down an upgraded, I mean I skipped over 2.0.6 so I might as well take 2.0.7.

Yeah, I heard through the rumor mill that it’s easy to exploit so I upgraded my four or so old wordpress-based sites.

Well i will surely upgrade to 2.0.7 soon but cant wait for 2.1

I did the upgrade yesterday from 2.05 to 2.07 and it all went smooth.

It was my first time upgrading WP & 2 blogs took less than 10 minutes going from 2.0.5 straight to 2.0.7
Reading about what some of those no-brained hackers have being doing to peoples blogs, I’m glad I did it…

it’s nice,I have just updated wp 2.0.5 to 2.0.7
it is good now. i was afraid of any error but, it is compleated now without any problem.

I hope my theme is still compatible with 2.1..I hate to tinker with new theme if that’s not the case. fingers crossed..

eches, Wordpress does a good job of making sure things are backwards compatible. Seeing as how it’s still in the 2.x versioning I doubt there will be any major issues.
