JohnTP.com is now 1 Year old
ADVERTISEMENTSJohnTP.com had become 1 year old on October 17th. But I had started blogging in the month of November only, so I am a 1 year old blogger too 
Let me share the current status of JohnTP.com with you -
There are currently 402 posts and 2,225 comments, contained within 20 categories. And Akismet has protected this site from 36,124 spam comments.
At present JohnTP.com has about 2,500 to 3000 unique traffic per day and I am quite happy with it and look forward to grow even bigger
You can find my story on how I got into blogging here
What keeps me blogging daily is my readers and their interaction with me through comments and so I would like to thank and encourage you to continue it.
Also spread the word about my site and watch out for more interesting posts. I hope by next year I can double my traffic and meet a lot more bloggers through JohnTP.com
Also to celebrate this blog’s first Birthday, I am going to give it a new theme as soon as possible

Do you get many false-positives? Have you thought about using a CATCHPA to cut down on the amount of spam before it reaches akismet?

I comment on quite a lot of blogs and captcha’s don’t really bother me too much, providing they don’t go too crazy when disguising the word!
The only blogs that bother me, and that I avoid leaving comments on, are ones that require registration or to click a confirmation link in an email.
Simple Math would work too.

My blog is already 3 months old. But, it just likes nothing compared to yours.
I just wrote a post about the best timing to submit an article to Digg.com so that we could have higher chance to reach the frontpage of Digg.com.
