i think the fading effect is horrible, and the tabs look more like boxes, maybe some tweaking of the code and images could make it look a little nicer to the eyes, just my oppinion

I noticed that an unloaded page with Sidebar Tabs sometimes show each tab separately one after the another.

Thanks for the link. Its true, sometimes when the page is waiting to load a final widget or whatnot, the tabs don’t collapse. This isn’t the most perfect or elegant solution, but its better than having a massive sidebar.
I’ll also take the criticism regarding style. Its not pretty, but its very functional. I have yet to find a better option that isn’t too hard to configure or too flashy (movements and ajaxy stuff).
