A new design for johntp.com
ADVERTISEMENTSToday I spend most of my time designing a new theme for johntp.com. It’s almost finished and I may start using it from tomorrow.
What’s new? This time I gave more importance to content rather than the looks. I am trying hard to create a theme that will hopefuly convert casual surfers to regular readers. I want to make it more easier for new readers to find what they are looking for and to easily subscribe.
Guess what, I have not even put a header like I have currently. Just a simple one with my blog name on it. Like I said before, this time I am concentrating more on increasing my pageviews, regular readers and making it easier for new readers to find the articles that are burried deep in my archives with the new theme.
Also, I was not satisfied with the daily pageviews of my Top Posts page. So I tried to design the new theme in such a way that more readers are likely to visit the page and become loyal readers.
Will you put the new theme for download? Well, I may but not soon. I was thinking of just putting up a tutorial on how to make your very own custom K2 Scheme. Won’t that be better?
I am no master in K2 but I will share whatever I have learned with my readers
I have closed the comments here, please let me know your opinion on the new theme on this post.

Hello. I enjoy reading your blog. You provide a ton of useful information. I like your idea. Instead of offering your new theme for download, how about providing information for creating your own k2 theme. This would be very helpful; for I have just started learning CSS.
