Very nice! Even works with 8.0 Beta!
Change out your blank.html with the following to make it look better:

[head]
[/head]
[body]
[style]
body, html {
overflow: hidden;
background: #D4D0C8;
}
[/style]
[/body]
[/html]
overflow: hidden will hide the scrollbar
background color matches classic XP background

Yes, that particlular Ad does not seem to go. But it does not matter as you can click ‘Join Chat’ and start chatting.

recently came to know that indian gov has issued a list of 22 pages of sites to block( via slashdot via rediff) !! my isp - sify - is blocking all geocities site!!!(now i know why i counldnt download,while softpedia insisted the link was working) . read that even blogger and typepad are being blocked(still working for me tho)…the dumb thing is that the isp’s are blocking the whole domain..argghh!!…the dumber thing is the whole idea of censorship!

I found the following website excellent!

Y.AddsRemover actually didn’t work for me. The utility that worked for me is available from the above URL. It also has another goodie that will allow you to open more than one instance of yahoo messenger. It means if you have more than one Messenger ID you can open more than one yahoo messenger.
Thanks to the creator of this utility!!! I wish him a long life..
