Many people search for blogs. My question is, how many people use Google Blog Search? I prefer Technorati for this purpose.

well I have a firefox plugin that tells me who has linked to a site or commented on a site’s article what you call trackbacks without doing anything when I visit some one blogs, Google Blog search is where the results come from, So I think its helpful.
Technorati is good too, but I dont think they can beat the Google Blog search engine indexing.
