Calling all Lurkers
ADVERTISEMENTSI get around 2000 visitors a day and I still get comments only from a few. Now’s your chance to shine and show yourself. Gather up some courage to say hello.
Tell me a bit about yourself- who you are, where you’re from, what you do, what you like the most and what you would like to see on this site. This can encourage me to also post more frequently
This will also help you to get to know some of the other lurkers and will even give you a few hits to your site if you have one
For those of you who do not know what a lurker is, let me help by saying that a lurker is a person who reads discussions on a blog or other interactive system like chat room or forum , but rarely participates by contributing their comments.
Comments from all visitors are welcome

Hello,
I have commented once or twice on here. I am 19 years old and live in the UK. Just started another website which I am hoping will do well. I’m getting to the stage where a few $/£ per month would be ace from adsense if I made that as I am just starting out.

Hey John, nice to meet you! I just found your blog, while reading up on Wordpress. Speaking of Wordpress, I just finished modifying K2 a little, so that my site ( http://pierrelourens.com ) was unique. I’ve heard good things about your site, so I guess I should go explore it now.

Pierre Lourens- Welcome to johntp.com, it would be nice if you could introduce yourself.
I have written a tutorial on how to create a custom K2 scheme here. I hope it helps you to make your K2 blog unique.

Hello John:
I am helping my son trouble shoot uTorrent v1.6 and hope you can offer some advice. This is the problem.
We are running uTorrent on a PC connected to a router.
Utorrent randomly breaks and makes
the internet connection and all PC’s connected to the router are effected.
Also, every couple of hours the internet connection is disabled and the cable modem and router have to be rebooted to enable the connection.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix these annoying problems?
Regards, Ron
