Is Google updating PageRank?
ADVERTISEMENTSMy technology news blog got PR 4 yesterday. I also noticed that this site had a PR4 for some time.
Also, this time Google has changed the way they rank sites. Google no more gives much importance to backlinks 
So what do you think? Is Google really updating PageRank?

Just a small update, as it appears Google did a pagerank update 2 weeks ago (mid August 2006).
My brand new site went up to PR1 (woohoo).
Hopefully another soon since I have a few links now!
