Switching to K2
ADVERTISEMENTSI currently use Blix and have been thinking about changing my WordPress theme for quite some time now. After getting replies to my post on Which WordPress Theme do you like the most? on ThinkDigit forum, I decided to use K2.
What is K2? K2 is an advanced WordPress template created by Michael Heilemann, Chris J Davis and Zeo.
I tested K2,revision 167,with Easy PHP and found that it is great for personal blogs. K2 supports a lot of WordPress plugins and has many good features like Ajax Commenting and Live Search.

K2 is currently in beta and you can download it from here.
After installing K2, you might want to customize it according to your needs.
Paul Stamatiou has put up tutorials on how to customize K2 on his site. The tutorials have three parts - part 1, part 2 and part 3. For other WordPress skins you can check my WordPress Theme Library

If you like the K2 theme but want something a little more, check out the Eizus V2 theme by binslashbash.org its going to be a great alt to K2 with more jazz to it.
