    I like this theme as well. However I must be doing something wrong or have missed something since my blog name and description do not show up. Any suggestions?

    Very nice and clean, I like it. Any plans on adding support for the new side bar widgets?

    Tony- I had hidden the blog name and description so that the theme users can add their own header graphic with blog name in it.

    But if you are not going to add a header graphic and would like to display the blog name and description, remove this code from technoblue.css

    h1{
    display: none;
    }
    #header .description {
    display: none;
    }

    john, am using your latest revision. But the text spacing is bigger in it so I went back to earlier css. I purposefully didnot keep the header like how it is on your site.

    John- What is the difference between ultimate Tag warrior and Bunny’s Technorati Tag……

    What is the advantage of each and which is recommended…… :roll:

    johntp

    June 7, 2006 at 2:57 pm

    Bunny’s Technorati Tag is a simple plugin that lets you tag keywords for Technorati.

    Ultimate Tag Warrior (UTW) basicaly does the same but has more features. TechnoBlue supports both these plugins, you just have to activate them and they are ready to use.

    I currently use UTW because of it’s extra features and I believe K2 will continue supporting it in the future. The post Future of K2 proves it.

    Check my Archives to see it’s other feature- Tag Cloud in action.

    Hello JohnTP,

    No, what I mean, is how can I help to translate TechnoBlue into Spanish? Do I have to translate the php or is there any language file to be translated?

    Thanks in advance

    Galder- You will have to translate the php. If you are successful in translating my theme in Spanish, please send me the translated theme and I shall put it for download from here, giving you credit ofcourse :-)

    I was afraid it was the unique way, of translating it. I will check this weekend, if I can, I would convert English terms into constants, and create language files. That way we will be able of translating to other languages as well.

    Can you tell me how many terms must be translated aproximately? I guess, the main problem will be finding them, instead of translating.

    I will inform you of my changes.

    Thanks in advance ;-)

    Hey John… I love the theme, if you click my name above you can see my site live running the theme. As a user of the theme… I wanted to offer some comments about the theme.

    Of the countless different themes available I decided to use yours. The theme works very well… and its fun to configure and install the plugins. I am not sure if you will be working on a version 2… however, if you do release an update I would love to see you add a .css editor or something that allows you to changes the colors of the theme in GUI instead of having to manually do it in .css in the theme editor. The .css files are very confusing, which is normal or common for most style sheets… you sit there and try to read the code and change it a little bit… upload, refresh the site and see what colors changed and which didn’t… you know what I mean? It’s a pain in the butt when you attempt to change colors. However, even if you created maybe 10 or so different colors to choose from, and in the theme editor there would be links to click to modify the colors or use a premade version…

    Looking forward to your response!

    Garry

    Garry- It’s a nice idea. I can create different styles for different colored versions of TechnoBlue such as a black, blue, red, green, etc. And the user will be able to select the colored version of their choice from the Admin Panel.

    But I need time as you may know I am currently busy with other things. But I will be back as soon as possible and implement your idea :-)

    Till then I would like all users of TechnoBlue to let me know which Colors they would like.

    Also do let me know if anyone has any other suggestions for the theme.

    July 15, 2006 at 10:12 am

    Ok…. now check this out! Why not allow the user to have total control of the colors using a color wheel or pallet. As the user is changing through the colors in the background he is automatically changing the hex key.. or whatever they call it. After allowing this… sections would need to be created where the user could control how it was colored. In addition to this…. this revision should include an upload option for a website logo or banner, perhaps even adding the ability to resize. I don’t know man… all I have to say is… it wouldn’t take much for you to have the best Wordpress then available online… and doing some real creative things and making this theme stand out even more than what it does will totally enable this theme to grow and grow fast!

    hi John,

    sorry, but i’m new to all this. Must I be using the K2 theme before I can use the Technoblue theme?

    I downloaded the theme but it has a .rar extention. and it doen’t show in my Presentation panel after I have uploaded it.

    John T P

    September 16, 2006 at 12:55 pm

    ahpek- You do not need to install K2 to use TechnoBlue.

    .rar files are compressed files like the .zip files. They can be opened with programs like WinRAR.

    Anyways, I compressed TechnoBlue to zip now. So you can use WinZip to open it.

    Hey John…I used Widgets plugin separately on this theme and now after disabling the Widgets plugin the options page name is now K2 Sidebar Widgets and under Add modules there is no module shown provided with TechnoBlue! How to bring back modules in options page? Though previously added modules still work but does not show on options page.

    modules work perfectly!

    I am using an older version of Date Stamp Plugin and it does not have this problem. People who have tried using the latest version has had this problem before.

    Try asking the Author of the plugin for a solution.
